Oatmeal Raisin Cookies
Chewy oat cookies with warm cinnamon, brown sugar, and raisins that stay plush.
Ingredients
- 1 cup flour
- 1 1/2 cups rolled oats
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 2/3 cup brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 3/4 cup raisins
Method
- Soak raisins in warm water for 10 minutes, then drain.
- Whisk flour, oats, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt.
- Beat butter and brown sugar, then mix in the egg.
- Fold in dry ingredients and raisins until just combined.
- Bake at 350°F for 10 to 12 minutes.
